  2. What type of placements can I enjoy? We will provide you to work within Nursing Homes, Residential Homes, Supported Living, Learning Disabilities & Mental Health settings. NHS work coming soon.
  3. What qualifications do I need to register? As a Care Assistant you do not need any formal qualifications although an NVQ or Care Certificate in Care is desirable, as well as a willingness and enthusiasm to undertake the mandatory training courses provided.
  4. How do I register? It’s easy – complete our online application form or just contact the nearest located office to you and speak to our recruitment team. We will advise you about what documents you need to bring to register and arrange a local to you registration interview.
  5. DBS Check? All staff will be required to undertake a DBS check before starting work. The DBS check can be paid by credit/debit card via our website or at registration and you will get a copy of the DBS report which needs to be provided to us on receipt.
  6. What training is provided? We provide the mandatory and skills for care training courses e.g. Moving and Handling, First Aid, Health and Safety, Food Hygiene, Safeguarding, Infection Control, COSHH, Fire Safety and more. All of these must be completed before working for Fellows Healthcare. If you have already completed these courses and can produce a valid certificate you may be exempt, update training may be required should you wish to work for us. Further training can also be provided relevant to your role.
  7. Can I work hours to suit me? Of course. The beauty of working for an agency is that you work when you are available. As long as you text in your availability on a weekly basis we will contact you when shifts come in that match your availability.
